Dr. Maurie Markman

Dr. Markman is a nationally renowned community oncologist with more than 20 years of experience in cancer treatment and gynecologic research at some of the country's most recognized facilities, including MD Anderson Cancer Center, the Cleveland Clinic, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Markman is dedicated to finding new and innovative ways to treat cancer and has published over 1,400 articles, editorials, peer-reviewed manuscripts, book chapters, reviews, letters, and abstracts as a result of his work. He is currently the Editor-in-Chief of numerous oncology journals, including Oncology Digest and Current Oncology Reports. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Markman is regularly listed as one of the “Best Doctors in America” by Best Doctors, Inc.; as one of “America’s Top Doctors” by Castle Connelly Medical Ltd.; and as one of “America’s Top Oncologists” by Consumer’s Research Council of America. Dr. Markman advises Massive Bio on clinical trial design, cancer and oncology research, physician–patient relationships, and cancer patient care.
